Shivvers Manufacturing, Inc. is located in Corydon, Iowa, 70 miles southeast of Des Moines. The company operates a 120,000-square-foot facility on a 20-acre site and employs around 150 regional associates.

In 1968, founder Charles Shivvers developed the tapered sweep auger, which led to the first commercially successful Continuous Counter-Flow Grain Drying System. In 1984, the industry was transformed again with the introduction of COMPU-DRY™, the first computerized grain drying control unit. Today, Shivvers is a global leader in automated Continuous Counter-Flow Grain Drying Systems.
